A Walk Down Burrard

Last weekend J and I decided to walk from downtown over the Burrard street bridge since it was a beautiful day. The buildings were shimmering and this glass building with the bright flowers caught my eye. Check out the reflection?

The sand shoreline wraps around to Stanley park, which you can see way out in the distance. This beach stretch is called English Bay while the other side is known as Kits Point. There are little water taxis that shuffle people back and forth can there's one now picking up it's next load.

It was a fun walk and made us realize how Vancouver is a small city (where we saw two of J's colleagues in an hour) with all the big elements like theatre, pro sport teams, symphony and museums. We can walk from our home to downtown in about 45 minutes or take the bus and be there in 10.

Shell,

Great pics! I've walked over the bridge myself, but never with a camera.

Next Tuesday's shoot is at Gastown. Ian said to meet at the steam clock at 2pm (if you're in town).

Roy.

Shell,

Ian said that Tuesday's shoot will be theme based. The theme is lifestyle photography, so think about how you want to shoot Gastown from that perspective.
